Paint & Punch DIY November 18, 2013 – Posted in: DIY – Tags: art, DIY, graphic, heart, paint, watercolour, zana
Here’s a really fun and quick, but effective, DIY. This paint and punch method is a simple way to create cost effective statement art pieces for your home or a fun office space.
It is really as simple as painting and punching….
Things you will need:
– Water colour paints
– Water colour paper pad
– Heart punch
– A frame
SIDE NOTE: The frame can be whatever size you prefer.
The content of your painting is not too important, we found that creating a doodle with a variety of colours had the best results.
We bought our punch from Merry Pak , they offer a wide variety of shapes and sizes which offers you as the DIY’er flexibility as to your design direction.
You can arrange your artwork however you prefer, we scattered the hearts onto a white page and liked the way they fell. If you prefer structure a row of hearts looks beautiful too.
If you do decide to try this at home tweet us using our hashtag ( #zanaproducts ) or tweet us directly ( @zanaproducts ) to share your designs. We would love to see them.
