We put a dreamy picnic setting and no picnic is complete without a picnic basket…
Here’s how to go about making your own picnic basket lining.
What you need:
1. A basket you already have.
3. Hem tape.
5. An Iron.
Step One || Measure the length of the fabric you will need, also mark out where your handles are. In my case I made a small hole (see images below) to accommodate the handle. Each basket is unique, adjust your fabric to suit your basket.
Step Two || Cut off any access fabric you may have.
Step Three || Place hem tape in place and fold over edges, then iron over the folds. The heat activates the hem tape sticking it together giving you a beautiful clean edge.
Step Four || Iron all the edges again.
Step Five || And you are done…
