The Creamery, Salt River | Cape Town Coffee (Ice Cream) Culture October 13, 2014 – Posted in: Cape Town – Tags: cape town, coffee, coffee culture, ice cream, the creamery, zana girls
It’s safe to say that us Zana girls are pretty much OBSESSED with The Creamery, and them opening up their second café a stone throw away from the studio in Salt River got us way too excited.
Everything about them, from their super cute logo and minty fresh branding to their whimsy ice cream flavours and desserts turn us (semi) grown woman into little kids again.
Us Capetonians don’t take our coffee and the culture around that cup of goodness lightly, have a look at our previous coffee culture posts to see what we mean! So, if you do coffee you gotta do it GOOD. The Creamery have got it so right with their Rosetta Roastery Ethiopian Coffee ice-cream – even though it’s not coffee in the traditional sense (they offer a variety really awesome coffee’s too).
The Zana girls top flavours are:
Mel – 65% Chocolate
Robyn & Sue – Cookie Dough
Nikki – Strawberry
Oh, but let’s not forget to mention their amazingly soft-on-the-inside, crispy-on-the-outside freshly-made waffles! If you’re keen to indulge, definitely give it a go.
Follow @thecreamerysa on Instagram for updates on their flavours and just general yumminess.
