It’s that time again! Yay for good food, presents, friends and family. Add some extra festive sparkle to your tree or living area with this super simple and effective DIY garland – it totally stole the show at our ‘Christmas Dinner for Two‘ shoot!

 

You will need:

  • Our template
  • Paper
  • Craft knife
  • Scissors
  • Steel ruler
  • Punch
  • String

1. Print the template out on paper of your choice – we used brown card as it’s nice and subtle. Neatly cut out the letters using the craft knife and steel ruler, using a scissors for the more rounded bits if you like.

2. Punch two wholes at the same height on each letter. Measure out your string (don’t cut it yet) and start threading the letters onto it.

3. Once the letters are threaded and spaced out as you like them cut the end of the string off, making sure you have enough string on either side to hang your garland up!

Voila! You now have a totally impressive paper garland that doesn’t cost the earth but catches the eye 😉
