Let’s Party April 13, 2017 – Posted in: Zana News – Tags: , , , , , ,

Celebrate good times, c’mon! April is our birthday month and we couldn’t be more excited to share our 5th birthday with all of you! We started off the celebrations with a few super cute *FREE* wallpaper downloads, did a week of giveaways over on Instagram leading up to our birthday on Saturday the 8th, we shared our trip down memory lane and then had a party!

For our birthday party we collaborated with a few of our fave local creatives! Girls who, well, know how to throw a beautiful party! @shewolfsa on makeup, flowers by @BouwerFlowers, cake and sweet treats by @Sweet.lionheart and photos by the talented @Carlalikesphotos . We had so much fun, thank you for having fun with us!

Hope you enjoy our confetti party! Sit tight, this is a long one but a goodie!

It wouldn’t be a party without bubbly!

I asked Sue and Robyn, mother and daughter co-founders of Zana, what 5 valuable lessons they have learnt in 5 years of business. Here is what they had to say –

  1. Don’t give up. Persevere.
  2. Know the power of social media and embrace the community it builds.
  3. There’s no quick fix. Things take time.
  4. You need to find the perfect combo of working smart and working hard.
  5. Delegating is key.

We are a little obsessed with @Geronimoballoons and felt totally inspired to create our own balloon arch with the help of The house that Lars built tutorial.  Just a one of our many favorite blogs! Isn’t social media wonderful? It has introduced us to so many talented people around the world.
