Our second chair revamp project is officially done! We chased down these chairs (found on Gumtree) and when we got them they were old, rusted and in need of a total overhaul. We first had the (hundreds of layers of) paint stripped down and then they were powder coated in a matte black. We replaced the entire seat with new wood, foam, fabric upholstering and slapped on some new rubber shoes. We used our chevron fabric to reupholster the seats, it is a thick, luxurious 35 000 rub 100% cotton fabric which we sell by the meter.
These chairs are officially for sale, if you want more info on prices etc. keep reading…
I love love how these chairs came out! I would totally keep them, but I say that for every chair revamp and i’m running out of space! They are really cute for an undercover patio or a bistro set-up, they really are unique and one of a kind! I can’t even explain what a great bitter sweet feeling it is to be finished with these beauties! Onto the next lot is what I have to keep reminding myself. If you missed our last revamp check it out here, they sold before we could even get them to the rest of you internet people! So if you want two or more of these chairs, be sure to get your order in quick quick!
If you are interested in buying these chairs: R560.00 each, there are 4 mint green chevron & 2 black chevron. For sale to South Africa readers only, if you are in Cape Town and want to come have a look at them in our Woodstock studio, you are more than welcome to make an appointment with us.
