After the (crazy) Valentines day rush ended, I had a moment to sit and gather my thoughts + write a few lists to help plan this year. I wanted to fill everyone in with what is happening with Zana and some exciting things to come this year!
1.) Thanks so much for all of your responses to the proposal idea of screen printing workshop I put on our Facebook & Instagram – the response was incredible and we are working to put together something amazing. We want it to be totally informative and the right balance of challenging and fun. As I am sure you all can imagine running a good workshop (like giving a good speech) can take a lot of preparation to make it perfect, and we can be very perfectionistic. That said, when we do finish the prep and planning for the workshop, you are guaranteed it will be an amazing experience. –
We will definitely be doing formal announcements on our Facebook – so make sure you like us on Facebook! (If you have any suggestions, ideas or just want to let us know any specific types of things you would want to learn in a screen printing workshop – please please comment below, I would love to hear from you!)
2.) We are doing Kamersvol (so for all our joburg people, you get to see us, yay!) – KAMERS 2014 Easter in Johannesburg, 18-21 April at The Forum Campus, in Bryanston. We are also doing the World Design Capital Cape Town 2014 KAMERS Cape Town at Castle of Good Hope, 5-8 June. We will be updating you via social media with all the info closer to the time!
3.) We are putting final touches on our studio store front & we will be doing a full feature here on our blog about it soon. We aren’t normally open on a Saturday, but there is a chance that might be soon changing, stay tuned!
Oh and last thing, don’t forget we have a 20% off sale on until Thursday (27 Feb 2014) – use the code ‘ zanalovesfeb ‘ when checking out – both on our Etsy & local SA online stores as well as in our studio shop!
(We have been posting a whole bunch of snaps of our new range coming out very very soon over on our Instagram. I cannot explain my excitement, especially for some leather base bags we are busy making, they are to die for, eek!)
xx Robyn & the Zana team.
