Being the height of fig season we couldn’t NOT include the beautiful fruit in this series. Combined with ricotta, this one really goes a level up from your ordinary toasty!
Fig, Ricotta & Honey Olive Oil Drizzle
Prep time: 25 mins, includes poaching time
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp honey
1 slice of your favourite bread, we used rye
1 fig, sliced
Ina small bowl, whisk together your honey and olive oil, adding some salt and pepper to taste.
Pop your toast into the toaster while getting all your ingredients together.
Once the toast is ready, spread the ricotta on, topping with slices of fig. Finish off the toasty with your honey and olive oil drizzle and serve.
