Screen Printing Workshop 04 – JHB October 28, 2015 – Posted in: Workshops, Zana News – Tags: , , , , ,

Our Zana screen printing workshops are fast becoming one of our favourite things to do here at Zana, it is so exciting for us to share our knowledge and love for screen printing and meeting you all makes it even better!

At the #zanaworkshop you learn about the different types of fabric printing and their strengths and limitations. You get to screen print, learn about fabric and technique and we also give you all the info you need to get started on your own at home, either as a hobby or a small business. Our workshops are an opportunity for you to screen print using our professional screens and also print from your own designs which you will sketch and carve using a stencil technique. It is so much fun! Would you like to join us for our next workshop? We will be announcing 2016 dates soon, please sign up to our workshop mailer here to be the first to know!

We recently visited Joburg for Sanlam HMC Fair (see our roundup of the event here) , we thought why not do two workshops while we are in JHB, that idea was such a hit and both workshops sold our in record time… In this blog post you will find a selection of photos from our first JHB workshop, enjoy –

We hosted our workshops at Nomads & Co , they are a beautiful co-working space in Parktown North, not only is it beautifully designed, the team who run the space are phenomenal.

A very big thank you to Lizette and Nomusa for all your help in making this a workshop to remember!

The #Zanaworkshop is a fun day out, a way for you to get creative. It is truly a hands on experience and we are there to guide you along the way.

Read this wonderful article Rita wrote after attending our workshop, it was totally unexpected and so special of you, thank you Rita!

The ‘rain drops’ print is a firm fave as you can tell… We are so inspired by all the beautiful ideas you all have!

Thank you to everyone who joined us,

We will definitely be doing more workshops in Jozi early 2016.
